Position Overview
Vantage Jobs is recruiting on behalf of a home care client seeking compassionate and reliable caregivers to support an individual living with dementia.
We are currently looking for Tagalog-speaking caregivers who are passionate about providing quality in-home care and companionship.
Schedule
- 3–4 days per week (Monday to Friday)
- Approximately 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and support to a client with dementia
- Assist with daily living activities as needed
- Accompany and drive the client to appointments (mileage reimbursed)
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment
- Communicate professionally with the client and family
Requirements
- Fluent in Tagalog
- Previous caregiving experience (dementia care preferred)
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Reliable vehicle
- Comfortable driving the client to appointments
- Able to work in Edmonton
- Clear Criminal Record Check (required before employment)
- First Aid & CPR certification is an asset
- HCA certification is not required
Eligibility Requirements
Compensation
- $18.00–$19.00 per hour
- Mileage reimbursement for client transportation
