Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Support the kitchen team during busy hours by managing multiple tasks effectively
- Maintain proper storage of ingredients and supplies, ensuring freshness and safety
- Assist with cleaning and organizing kitchen stations at the end of each shift
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours
Experience
- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred, especially in roles involving cooking or food preparation
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards is essential
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment is advantageous
- Experience working in the food industry demonstrates an understanding of fast-paced environments and teamwork dynamics
- Previous roles involving serving or food service are beneficial but not required; a willingness to learn is valued highly

Pay: $16.00-$19.00 per hour
