Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team.
In this vital role, you will be responsible for bookkeeping, bank reconcilation and other accounting functions using Quickbooks online.
Responsibilities
- Perform data entry tasks with precision using Quickbooks Online, maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions.
- Reconcile accounts regularly to identify discrepancies and ensure ledger accuracy through detailed account analysis.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparing journal entries and financial reports.
- Maintain organized documentation of all financial records for audit readiness and internal review.
Experience
- Proven experience working with accounting software such as QuickBooks.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Demonstrated ability in bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and account analysis.
- Excellent math skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial data entry and reporting.
- Prior experience in winery or hospitality industry services or related industries is a plus.
