Fresh food services is seeking staff for their newest custom food trailer located in Saint John and area. Serving favourite recipes, fish and chips, burgers as well El Poblano's signature Mexican food.
We are seeking energetic and customer-focused Food Truck Staff to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional food service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Ideal candidates will have a passion for the food industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of food items according to established recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and payment handling
- Manage cash handling accurately and efficiently during transactions
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service to ensure a positive dining experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food truck, including food handling areas and utensils
- Assist with upselling menu items to increase sales opportunities
- Ensure adherence to food safety guidelines and proper sanitation procedures
- Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods
- Restock supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
- Support team members in daily operations to ensure smooth workflow
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or food industry preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, handling, and sanitation standards
- Experience with POS systems is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen or food truck experience is advantageous but not mandatory
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends if needed
