Parkade Valet

Job Description:
Harmony Honda is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Parkade Valet to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and organizing our vehicle parkade and parking lot, ensuring that all vehicles are properly parked, accessible, and ready for customer and dealership staff use.
Key Responsibilities:
Vehicle Organization: Efficiently park and arrange vehicles in the dealership’s parkade and lot according to designated areas, making sure they are easily accessible and neatly displayed.
Vehicle Handling: Safely move vehicles to and from various parking areas, ensuring that each vehicle is handled with care.
Inventory Management: Monitor the vehicle inventory within the parkade and lot, ensuring all vehicles are accounted for and correctly positioned. Report any discrepancies or issues to management.
Customer Service: Greet customers upon arrival, assist them with parking, and provide directions or information as needed. Ensure a positive customer experience by providing prompt and courteous service.
Lot Maintenance: Regularly inspect the parkade and lot to ensure cleanliness and organization. Address any hazards or maintenance issues promptly, such oil spills, debris, or broken equipment.
Opening/Closing Duties: Ensure all vehicles are parked in the proper designated areas at the beginning of every shift and at the end of every shift, and throughout the course of the day.
Vehicle Inspection: Conduct routine checks on vehicles for any visible damage or issues and report findings to the appropriate department.
Key Management: Ensure that vehicle keys are securely stored and accurately logged in the key management system.
Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, service, and management teams to coordinate vehicle placement and retrieval, as well as to support dealership operations as needed. Deliver and pickup vehicles to respective vendors as required.
Qualifications:
Valid Driver’s License: Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, such as valet, lot attendant, or vehicle handling, is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and drive for extended periods. Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining the orderliness of the parkade and lot.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and staff.
Dependability: Punctuality and reliability are crucial, as this position plays a key role in the daily operations of the dealership.
