CAMPAIGN MANAGER – MAYORAL CAMPAIGN (CITY OF BRAMPTON)
We are seeking a motivated, strategic, and highly organized Campaign Manager to help lead a dynamic mayoral campaign in the City of Brampton. This individual will play a key role in coordinating campaign operations, strengthening community outreach, increasing voter engagement, and helping build a strong public presence throughout the campaign.
The ideal candidate is passionate about leadership, understands modern political campaigning, and can operate effectively in a fast-paced and community-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and executing campaign strategies aligned with campaign goals and public messaging
- Coordinate campaign events, town halls, community outreach initiatives, and public appearances
- Manage volunteers, canvassing efforts, and voter engagement activities across Brampton communities
- Assist with social media campaigns, digital communication strategies, and online public engagement
- Work closely with creative teams on campaign materials, signage, advertisements, photography, and video content
- Assist with media relations, public communications, interview coordination, and campaign messaging
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, campaign timelines, and day-to-day operations
- Support fundraising initiatives, donor engagement, and sponsorship opportunities
- Build relationships with local residents, businesses, organizations, and community leaders
- Monitor campaign progress, public feedback, and community concerns to help strengthen campaign strategy
- Respond quickly and professionally in high-pressure or fast-moving situations
Qualifications
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Experience in political campaigns, community organizing, marketing, communications, or public relations is considered an asset
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and modern voter engagement strategies
- Self-motivated, dependable, and solution-oriented
- Passion for community development, civic leadership, and public service
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during campaign periods
Preferred Skills
- Event planning and coordination experience
- Volunteer management experience
- Public speaking or media relations experience
- Knowledge of Brampton communities and local issues
- Graphic design, photography, or content creation experience is an asset
Compensation
Compensation will be competitive and based on experience. Flexible contract structures may be available for the right candidate.
