At Novotel Vaughan we want to create memorable experiences! These experiences begin and end with our Front Office Team. We are looking for an outgoing, friendly, and hospitable candidate to join our team as a Night Auditor!
Responsibilities:
- Provides excellent guest service to all guests
- Greets, checks in, and settles all guest accounts
- Helps guests with any inquiries, and provides assistance where necessary in a professional manner
- Answers all incoming phone calls and takes reservations
- Performs end of day processes to close off the day and roll the system forward
- Conducts audit checks and balancing of end of day reports; distributes reporting to management
- Accurately follows cash handling procedures
- Adheres to all department and Company's policies and procedures
- Ensures guests' security by the proper handling of guest room keys and personal information
- Performs any other job related duties as assigned
Candidate Requirements:
- At least one year Hotel Front Office/Night Audit experience is a must for this position
- Experience with the Opera PMS is a definite asset
- High School or University/College Diploma is preferred
- Commitment to customer satisfaction
- Passion for customer service, enthusiastic, detail oriented, computer literate, fast learner
- Excellent communications skills
- Works well under pressure in a changing environment
- Fluency in English, written and verbal; a second language is an asset
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Able to stand for an 8 hour shift
- Flexibility in shifts: mornings, evenings, weekends, statutory holidays
- Valid Canadian work permit and SIN is required
- Applicant must be situated in the Greater Toronto Area at the time of application
