Magna Golf Club, one of Canada’s most exclusive private golf clubs, is seeking a reliable and skilled Facility Maintenance – Handy Person to join our Facilities team. This is a year-round opportunity with full-time hours available.
We are looking for an individual with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and an “all hands-on deck” approach. If you enjoy working independently, take pride in maintaining facilities, and possess a broad range of maintenance skills, we would like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general building maintenance and repair duties
- Complete small repairs related to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and woodworking
- Conduct ongoing upkeep and maintenance of the grounds maintenance facility
- Perform daily housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Inspect buildings and identify maintenance requirements
- Carry out interior and exterior building repairs and preventative maintenance
- Assist with general facility upkeep as required
- Operate electrical and hand tools safely and efficiently
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in building or facility maintenance is considered an asset
- Good understanding of maintenance skills including: painting ,carpentry ,tiling, basic plumbing and basic electrical repairs
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Trustworthy, dependable, and self-motivated
- Strong work ethic with a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
- Valid Ontario driver’s license required
