Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with automotive repair, and familiarity with various tools and schematics. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using advanced tools and schematics
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs efficiently and safely
- Follow manufacturer specifications and safety protocols during all repair procedures
- Assist with vehicle assembly and component installation as needed
- Maintain detailed service records for each vehicle serviced
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and customer expectations
- Support maintenance tasks to keep the workshop organized and equipment in optimal condition
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and recommendations clearly
Qualifications
- Proven mechanic experience with a solid understanding of automotive repair procedures
- Dealership experience preferred but not required
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and schematics for diagnostics and repairs
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds) when handling parts or equipment
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems
- Experience with welding and assembly is advantageous
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills for effective customer interaction and teamwork
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $35.00-$39.00 per hour
