About the Role
The Marketing Coordinator, Product Innovation supports the Senior Marketing Manager in bringing new product ideas from insight to execution. This role contributes to market research, project coordination, product concept development, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate is curious, detail-oriented, and energized by consumer trends, wellness innovation, and the opportunity to help shape products that meet evolving customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Innovation Support:

Assist the execution of product innovation strategies that align with brand priorities, consumer insights, and emerging market trends.

Translate innovation initiatives into actionable tasks, including identifying market opportunities, preparing concept briefs, tracking milestones, and coordinating inputs from cross-functional partners.

Develop and refine materials, presentations, and supporting documents for internal product innovation discussions and decision-making.
2. Market Research Assistance:

Conduct and synthesize market research, including consumer behaviour analysis, category reviews, competitive benchmarking, and trend monitoring.

Analyze research findings to identify innovation opportunities and provide insights that help guide product development decisions.

Compile research findings into clear, concise reports and summaries for marketing, product development, and leadership stakeholders.
3. Cross-functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with R&D, sales, customer experience, operations, and other internal partners to ensure product concepts align with consumer needs, business goals, and executional requirements.

Participate in cross-functional meetings, capture key decisions and action items, and help maintain project timelines and accountability.

Support ideation sessions and contribute to the development of product concepts, mock-ups, prototypes, and related launch materials.
4. Communication and Reporting:

Help prepare updates and reports on project progress and product development initiatives for internal stakeholders.

Ensure clear communication across teams by organizing meeting notes and distributing updates.

Maintain accurate project documentation, task trackers, timelines, and status updates to support organized and timely execution.
5. Additional Responsibilities:

Provide proactive support to the Senior Marketing Manager across product innovation initiatives, research activities, presentations, and project coordination needs.

Own smaller-scale projects or defined workstreams, ensuring deliverables are completed accurately, collaboratively, and within agreed timelines.

Stay informed about wellness, supplement, consumer packaged goods, and broader market trends to contribute fresh ideas to the innovation pipeline.
Experience, Skills & Competencies Required

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Product Management, or a related field.

1–2 years of relevant experience in marketing, product development, innovation, or consumer packaged goods preferred (internship/co-op experience will be considered)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
