Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Supply Chain Assistant to support production through kitting, material handling, inventory control, and receiving/shipping activities. This role is ideal for someone with electronics manufacturing experience who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue production kits accurately and on schedule.
- Pick, move, stage, and replenish materials to support production requirements.
- Work safely at height when retrieving or storing materials in elevated locations.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, bin audits, and timely system transactions.
- Provide backup support for receiving activities, including material verification, labeling, and system entries.
- Assist with shipping and receiving functions as required.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe material storage areas.
- Follow quality, safety, and inventory control procedures.
- Support production, inventory, and logistics activities based on business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience handling electronic components.
- Experience with kitting, material handling, inventory control, or warehouse operations.
- Basic Quality Assurance experience.
- Familiarity with ERP/inventory management systems.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and reliability.
- Ability to lift and move materials and work safely at heights; willing to complete Safety at Heights training.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Epicor ERP and Microsoft Excel.
- Shipping and receiving experience.
- Forklift certification.
- Logistics or supply chain experience.
- Knowledge of 5S, Lean Manufacturing, or lean material flow practices
Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
