About the Role
Lane Lane Partners is looking for a skilled and reliable HVAC Residential Installer to join our growing team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, setup, and commissioning of a variety of residential HVAC and mechanical systems. This is a hands-on field position working directly in residential homes and new builds across our service area.
Responsibilities
- Install residential ductwork systems including supply, return, and flex duct
- Install gas furnaces in new and existing residential homes
- Install central air conditioning systems including split systems and condensers
- Install ductless mini-split systems (single-zone and multi-zone)
- Install tankless water heaters (gas and electric)
- Install heat pump systems including air source and hybrid configurations
- Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and technical specifications
- Ensure all installations meet Ontario Building Code and manufacturer standards
- Test and commission installed equipment to confirm proper operation
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment at all job sites
- Communicate clearly with team leads and office staff regarding job progress
Requirements — Mandatory
- Valid Ontario G2 or G (full) driver's licence
- Own reliable vehicle to travel independently to job sites
- Own basic HVAC hand tools required for residential installation work
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with one or more of the systems listed above
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Punctual, reliable, and professional at all times
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
Assets & Preferred Qualifications
- TSSA Gas Technician G2 certification
- ODP (Ozone Depleting Substance) refrigerant handling certification
- Experience with residential new construction installations
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and blueprints
- WSIB registration (or willingness to obtain)
- First Aid / WHMIS certification
Compensation & Benefits
- $30.00 – $38.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications
- Full-time, permanent position — Monday to Friday (overtime as required)
- Compensation reviewed based on performance and skill level
