Position: Part-time
Hours: 6:30am-2:30pm; 11am-7 pm, minimum of 22.5 hours/week including every other weekend and holidays
Qualifications: One to Three Years of Food Service Experience, 1 Year Supervisor Experience preferred, Food handler certificate, Completion of Secondary School, Ability to read, write and speak English. Must be able to work as a team member and with the elderly.
Responsibilities:
· Supervise dining room meal service to ensure high quality of food services in the dining room
· Handle clients’ concerns quickly and courteously
· Conduct orientation for new students
· Handle employee concerns and incidents
· Ensures all scheduled positions are covered and calls for replacement if needed
· Records meal attendance of clients
· Ensures a working environment free from discrimination and harassment, where the dignity and differences of all are respected
· Leadership and motivational skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· To be able to plan and prioritize your own work and work of your subordinates
· Other duties as assigned.
· Reports issues and concerns to management
