Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service & Travel Sales Representative to join our travel team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, assisting with travel inquiries, bookings, package details, and service requests. You will also promote and recommend our travel products to match customer needs. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy helping people, and are confident in a sales-driven travel setting.
Shift Requirement
This position is an afternoon shift, working 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM, with required availability on Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays.
Duties
- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting clients with travel inquiries, booking adjustments, package information, and general questions.
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, and chat.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction throughout their travel experience.
- Analyze customer feedback to improve service delivery and overall customer experience.
- Maintain professionalism and proper phone etiquette during all interactions.
- Actively engage in travel sales and upselling, recommending packages, upgrades, insurance, and add-ons.
- Accurately perform data entry for bookings, customer information, and transactions.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve service and sales targets.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service or travel sales is preferred.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Speaking Spanish is considered a strong asset.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to analyze information and offer effective solutions.
- Experience with data entry and familiarity with travel booking systems or CRM platforms is an asset.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to perform well under pressure.
- Ability to work the 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM shift, including weekends and public holidays.
- TICO certification required upon successful completion of the probationary period.
Compensation & Hiring Disclosures
Expected Compensation: $42,000 - $50,000 / year
