Middle/Senior School Test Room Coordinator
Full-Time, 10-Month Contract
Commencing August 2026
An opportunity exists at The Country Day School (CDS) for an experienced professional to join our dynamic, student-oriented Student Services Department. We are seeking a full-time Test Room Coordinator to manage and oversee our test room environment and protocols, supervise and support students in the writing of all tests and exams for students who miss evaluations due to student-athlete responsibilities, illness, and psycho-educational needs. Beyond test room supervision, this role involves administrative tasks to support the Student Services Team.
The ideal candidate is a certified educational assistant or other student-centred educational professional with commensurate experience who possesses exceptional organizational skills, patience, self-motivation and resourcefulness, as well as an understanding of accommodations and IEPs.
We are seeking an individual who demonstrates the following knowledge, skills and aptitudes:

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive, respectful relationships with adolescents.

Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a calm, supportive presence when working with students who may be anxious, stressed, or frustrated.

Ability to maintain a structured, quiet, and focused testing environment while ensuring the consistent implementation of accommodations and the integrity of the assessment process.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in following testing procedures and accommodation plans.

Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple students, schedules, and assessment materials simultaneously.

Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality regarding student records, accommodations, and academic matters.

Comfortable implementing accommodations outlined in Individual Education Plans, including extended time, use of assistive technology, and alternative testing environments.

Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with students, teachers, learning support staff, guidance counsellors, and administrators.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond calmly and effectively to unexpected situations.

Proficiency with common educational technologies, including Google Workspace.

Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a student support team.

Employment Details:-
Salary Range: $52,000 to $62,000 commensurate with experience.
