QUALIFICATIONS:Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent
Experience & Skills:
- Valid AZ Driver’s license with a minimum of 3 years’ professional driving work experience is required
- 3-5 years shunt driver experience
- Clean driver’s abstract, experience letters and CVOR (Commercial Vehicle Operator’s Registration)
- Strong geographic knowledge of GTA and surrounding area
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- High level of dependability and reliability
- Ability to lift, stack and carry 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a variety of weather, temperature and road conditions
- Flexibility with working hours and availability required
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Perform shunt driving between 2 EarthFresh Burlington facilities.
2. Perform local deliveries primarily within the GTA and surrounding area.
3. Drive and operate straight trucks or trailers in a safe and professional manner.
4. Perform truck and trailer safety inspection reports.
5. Maintain accurate logbooks, incident reports, customer paperwork (bills of lading).
6. Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety Act and EarthFresh GMPs.
7. All other duties as required by Warehouse Manager.
