Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC/Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning and refrigeration systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC and refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. The HVAC/R Technician will work independently and as part of a team to troubleshoot issues and provide effective solutions.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including , air conditioners, and ventilation units.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC/R equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to heating and cooling systems.
- Braze components as necessary for repairs or installations.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and operational functions.
- Pipe new installations according to industry standards.
- Build custom solutions for unique HVAC challenges faced by clients.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC/R needs.
- Integrate into On-call rotation
Experience
- Proven experience as an HVAC/R Technician or similar role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems.
- Familiarity with appliance repair techniques related to HVAC/R systems is a plus.
- Experience in brazing, soft solder, and building components for HVAC/R applications is beneficial.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this position.

Pay: $26.00-$41.60 per hour
