We are seeking an experienced, results-oriented Supply Chain Manager to lead our purchasing, logistics, inventory, receiving, and material flow operations across both Canadian and U.S. manufacturing facilities.
This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for ensuring the right materials are in the right place at the right time while driving supplier performance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement throughout the supply chain.
The successful candidate will lead Purchasing, Shipping & Receiving, Kitting, and Logistics teams while working closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Project Management to support on-time delivery of highly customized vessels.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, coaching, and accountability for Purchasing, Shipping & Receiving, Kitting, and Logistics teams across Canadian and U.S. operations.
- Develop a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer service.
- Lead procurement activities to ensure materials are available to support production schedules while achieving quality, cost, and delivery objectives.
- Develop supplier relationships while negotiating pricing, contracts, lead times, and service agreements.
- Monitor supplier performance through KPIs including on-time delivery, quality, responsiveness, and value.
- Lead inventory planning and material control processes that balance production requirements with inventory investment.
- Oversee inbound/outbound logistics, transportation, freight management, customs coordination, and cross-border material movements.
- Work closely with Production Planning to ensure material availability supports manufacturing schedules.
- Partner with Engineering on new product introductions and engineering changes.
- Collaborate with Finance on inventory accuracy, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
- Utilize ERP/MRP systems while ensuring accurate master data and transaction integrity.
- Identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve material flow, reduce waste, and shorten lead times.
- Establish, monitor, and report key performance indicators.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field.
- APICS (CPIM/CSCP), CIPS, PMP, or similar designation is an asset.
- Minimum five years of progressive supply chain leadership experience in manufacturing.
- Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong experience in procurement, inventory management, logistics, shipping & receiving, supplier management, and production support.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
- Engineer-to-order or custom manufacturing experience is a strong asset.
- Strong analytical, planning, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

Pay: $80,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
