About Us
Kingsway Drafting & Design is a growing residential design and development firm specializing in custom homes, duplexes, fourplexes, townhomes, secondary suites, and small multi-family developments throughout Alberta. We are passionate about creating thoughtful, high-quality designs while providing an efficient and collaborative experience for our clients.
We are seeking a licensed Registered Architect in Alberta to join us on a contract basis to provide architectural oversight and professional services on residential projects.
Responsibilities
Review architectural drawings and provide design and code compliance feedback.
Ensure projects meet applicable Alberta Building Code and municipal requirements.
Work collaboratively with our in-house design team to refine and coordinate projects.
Coordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil consultants as required.
Exercise responsible professional oversight throughout the design process..
Qualifications
Registered Architect in good standing with the Alberta Association of Architects (AAA).
Experience with residential and multi-family projects.
Strong knowledge of the Alberta Building Code and municipal permitting processes.
Experience with Revit and BIM workflows is preferred.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently while supporting a growing design team.
