You are interested in a long term and rewarding career in Country Elevator Operations
You have obtained (or are close to completing) a degree or diploma in Agriculture or related disipline
You are eager to learn all facets of a country grain elevator along with grain grading
Your past experiences have demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, problem solving ability, and a commitment to exceed expectations
An agricultural background or previous work experience in a country grain elevator is preferable but not necessary

Duties
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Safe operation of any vehicles used (forklift, tractors etc)
- Quality monitoring and reporting
- Precise completion of daily paperwork and communication with supervisors
- General maintenance and housekeeping
- Shoveling and sweeping grain bins
- Inspect, prepare, load and unload trucks
Requirements
- Capable of lifting up to 30kg
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Willing to work overtime and shifts as required
- Capable of working with a team
- Attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
Experience
- 1 year Agriculture experience an asset
- 1 year General Labour an asset
- Willing to train
