ERP Finance within VP Finance is currently seeking a Full-time Regular Manager, ERP Finance Services.
Reporting to the Associate Director, Finance Services, the Manager, ERP Finance Services provides leadership and functional oversight for ERP Finance operations, support, governance, testing, access, workflow, and continuous improvement within the University's financial systems environment.
The role supports reliable ERP Finance service delivery, strong controls, accurate financial data, and effective stakeholder support in a complex, decentralized academic environment.
The role requires finance systems knowledge, practical problem-solving, sound judgment, people leadership, and the ability to manage competing priorities while supporting change and operational excellence.
The role must balance day-to-day production support with cyclical peak periods, including month-end, year-end, testing cycles, system upgrades, and project deadlines.
Summary of Key Responsibilities (job functions include but are not limited to):
ERP Finance Leadership & Service Delivery

Manage day-to-day ERP Finance functional support, issue resolution, service delivery, and operational priorities.

Lead and support the ERP Finance team to deliver timely, accurate, and client-focused support to Financial Operations and campus stakeholders.

Align ERP Finance priorities with Financial Operations needs, institutional processes, fiscal timelines, and system initiatives.

Monitor service standards, manage escalations, and ensure work is appropriately prioritized across production support, projects, and cyclical activities.

Monitor recurring issues, service trends, and user impacts to identify root causes and recommend practical improvements.

Identify opportunities to improve ERP Finance processes, documentation, controls, user experience, and service consistency.
Controls, Compliance & Data Integrity

Support the integrity, reliability, and appropriate use of financial data within ERP Finance modules, workflows, and reporting structures.

Support reporting needs, information requirements, and financial data structures to enable accurate and consistent use of ERP Finance information.

Maintain effective controls, documentation, and governance practices for ERP Finance processes, access, testing, and changes.

Support audit requests, control validation, issue tracking, and remediation follow-up related to ERP Finance activities.
Finance Systems Administration & Governance

Manage ERP Finance functional administration, including financial structures, workflow support, delegation, access requests, security coordination, and issue prioritization.

Coordinate testing, documentation, stabilization, and user support for ERP Finance changes, enhancements, integrations, upgrades, and reporting updates.

Provide functional oversight for PeopleSoft Financials and related ERP Finance processes, including configuration support, workflow, approvals, and operational troubleshooting.

Partner with IT, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Internal Controls, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and support system improvements.

Participate in ERP governance forums, change planning discussions, and cross-functional working groups to support coordinated decision-making and system changes.

Assess business needs, evaluate options, and support recommendations for ERP Finance enhancements, automation, and system-enabled process improvements.
System Workflows & Process Optimization

Support workflow design, process improvement, and system-enabled efficiencies across ERP Finance processes.

Support workflow automation and related tools, including PeopleSoft workflows, GT eForms, delegation, approvals, and reassignment processes, where applicable.

Implement standardization, simplification, automation, and documentation improvements to reduce manual effort and improve service delivery.

Coordinate finance input, testing, adoption, training, and stabilization for ERP Finance enhancements and operational changes.
Leadership & Team Development
-
Provide direction, coaching, workload management, and performance support to strengthen team effectiveness and service delivery.

Foster a team culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and client-focused support.

Allocate team resources to support fiscal cycles, production issues, testing, projects, and competing operational priorities.
-
Develop training, documentation, and knowledge-sharing tools that support consistency, compliance, and team capability.
Stakeholder Engagement & Advisory Services

Provide practical guidance to Financial Operations, faculties, and administrative units on ERP Finance processes, workflows, access, and support requirements.

Support stakeholders in understanding and applying University financial policies, procedures, controls, and system processes.

Provide functional analysis, requirements gathering, issue assessment, and advisory support to help translate business needs into practical ERP Finance solutions.

Build collaborative relationships across Finance, IT, Supply Chain Management, Internal Controls, and academic or administrative units to resolve issues and improve service delivery.

Translate system, process, compliance, and operational information into clear stakeholder guidance.

Manage stakeholder expectations and competing priorities in a decentralized, high-volume environment.
Qualifications / Requirements:
-
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, commerce, information systems, or related discipline.

CPA, ERP systems certification, project management, change management, Lean Six Sigma, or related training considered an asset.

Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible experience in finance, accounting, financial operations, ERP finance systems, or related enterprise functions.

Minimum 3 years of leadership experience, including people leadership, workload management, prioritization, and service delivery.
-
ERP or enterprise finance systems experience, including functional administration, workflow, access, testing, reporting, enhancements, upgrades, implementations, or production support.

Experience with PeopleSoft Financials, Supply Chain Management, or comparable ERP platforms considered an asset.

Experience with controls, data integrity, audit support, compliance, documentation, and process improvement.

Experience partnering across Finance, IT, Supply Chain Management, Internal Controls, Audit, and academic or administrative units.

ERP Finance systems acumen, including functionality, data flows, controls, workflows, access, testing, and operations.

People leadership skills in coaching, workload management, accountability, collaboration, and service excellence.

Knowledge of controls, risk, compliance, audit support, documentation, and governance within a finance systems environment.

Process improvement and change support skills, including simplification, adoption, training, and sustainable improvement.

Analytical problem-solving, including issue assessment, root cause analysis, escalation, and practical recommendations.

Communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and client service skills.

Ability to prioritize and deliver reliably in a decentralized, high-volume environment.
