Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Concrete Pump Operator and Ready mix driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating heavy equipment, specifically concrete pumps and ready mix trucks. This role involves working on various construction sites, ensuring the efficient and safe delivery of concrete to designated areas. The role will require pump operation and mixer to start to get the desired hours until the concrete season picks up and full time pump operation is required.
Responsibilities
- Operate concrete pumps safely and efficiently on job sites.
- Collaborate with construction teams to determine concrete placement needs.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
- Maintain and service concrete pumping equipment as needed.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of pump lines and hoses.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and other team members regarding project progress and any potential issues.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery and working on-site.
Experience
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with concrete pumps.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and possess a DZ license.
- A commitment to safety practices in all aspects of work is essential.
