KidsUnited is an early childhood soccer and development centre serving children aged 1.5 to 9 years. We use structured, play-based programs to build coordination, confidence, teamwork, and early learning skills in children - all through soccer. About the Opportunity
As a Youth Soccer Development Coach, you’ll lead structured, high-energy sessions that help children grow physically, socially, and emotionally through movement and play. You’ll follow our curriculum while bringing your personality, enthusiasm, and professionalism to every class. Helping children develop both soccer skills and life skills.
This is a hands-on, active role best suited to individuals who bring energy, patience, and consistency to every session.
What You’ll Do
· Lead fun, structured soccer and movement classes for children aged 1.5–9 years
· Deliver sessions using KidsUnited curriculum and coaching standards
· Support children’s development of coordination, teamwork, confidence, and foundational soccer skills
· Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
· Build positive, relationships with children and families
· Provide concise feedback to parents regarding their child’s participation and progress
· Maintain accurate attendance and required session records
· Uphold all health and safety standards
· Participate in required training sessions, meetings, and professional development
· Represent KidsUnited in a professional, inclusive, and welcoming manner at all times
What we are looking for
To qualify for this opportunity, you must have:
Minimum 6 months experience coaching youth soccer
OR
Minimum 1 year experience working with children, combined with a background in playing soccer
High comfort levels working with toddlers and young children
Strong communication skills
A collaborative, team-oriented mindset Organizational skills, be reliable and punctual
Availability to work during weekdays, evenings, and/or weekends
Preferred Qualification
Early childhood education experience
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Coaching certifications or related training
Employment Requirements
Legally eligible to work in Canada
Vulnerable Sector Check (required prior to start date)
Ability to meet physical demands of working with young children (standing, movement, light physical activity)
