Window Film Installer
Employment Type: Full-Time | Field-Based
L.G. Home Comfort is expanding our services across Ontario, and we're looking for a skilled and motivated Window Film Installer to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be on the road visiting residential and commercial customers to install security window.
You'll be given a company vehicle and the tools you need to succeed, with the opportunity to grow your earnings through performance bonuses and commissions on top of your base hourly rate.
Please note that this position requires travel across Ontario.
Key Responsibilities
- Install security window film on residential and commercial glass to reinforce against forced entry, impact, and shattering.
- Prepare and clean glass surfaces thoroughly prior to installation to ensure proper adhesion.
- Measure, cut, and fit security film precisely to a variety of window sizes and shapes.
- Apply film using squeegees, heat guns, and other tools to ensure a smooth, bubble-free, and durable finish.
- Install anchoring systems where required to meet security film performance standards.
- Test and inspect completed installations to confirm proper adhesion and coverage.
- Walk customers through film care, durability, and warranty details, answering their questions professionally.
- Coordinate travel to job sites across your assigned region using a company vehicle.
- Maintain accurate job records, installation reports, and material usage logs.
- Uphold all safety standards and local codes.
- Represent LG Home Comfort professionally at all times.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience installing security window film required.
- Valid Ontario G Driver's License with a clean driving record — required.
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule in the field.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, especially with precision cutting and finishing.
- Excellent customer communication and professionalism.
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working in varied environments (ladders, heights, tight spaces).
