Shop Assistant
Exciting, fast paced British Bakery and Grocery chain looking for Part Time Shop Assistant for our Burlington location.
Must have availability weekends and some weekdays. Open/Flexible availability is preferred.
Duties:
- Assist customers with Bakery and Grocery Needs
- Cashier/Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed
- Assist in inventory management and restocking of merchandise
- Cleaning, sweeping, mopping, dusting, dishes, sanitizing work spaces daily
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
Experience:
- Previous experience in a retail preferred. Knowledge of British grocery an asset.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain a tidy shop environment
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
Candidate must have a positive friendly personality and enjoy working with customers. Expert Communication Skills - English Language required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.60-$18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
