Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Worker to join our team in providing exceptional service in a hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling laundry operations, ensuring all linens and garments are cleaned, folded, and organized to meet high standards of cleanliness and presentation. Previous hotel experience, familiarity with laundry processes, and attention to detail are highly valued. Responsibilities
- Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and folding machines safely and efficiently
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing according to established procedures
- Ensure all laundry items are cleaned to the highest standards of hygiene and appearance
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly sanitizing machines and work surfaces
- Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when restocking is needed
- Assist with other cleaning duties around the facility as required
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment
Requirements
- Prior experience in hotel laundry or related cleaning roles is preferred
- Knowledge of laundry processes, including sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens or garments
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and cleanliness
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Good organizational skills and ability to follow instructions precisely
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
- Reliable work ethic with a positive attitude toward teamwork and customer service
Pay: $17.85 per hour
