Responsibilities:
· Provide leadership and support to managers and employees in the areas of performance counseling, employee retention, policy interpretation and implementation, human rights and employment legislation, conflict resolution and legal/contractual requirements.
· Coordinate recruitment and selection process for the organization, including screening candidates, conducting interviews, contacting references, and providing orientation and training for new employees.
· Prepare separation packages, complete layoffs/terminations.
· Administer and explain benefits to employees, serve as liaison between employees and insurance carriers.
· Recommend, develop, and schedule training and development courses.
· Develop and maintain company policies, procedures, and documentation.
· Maintaining and updating employee schedule for weekly and continental employees
· Manage HR related reporting as required (Labour Cost, Health & Safety, WSIB)
· Develop, support, and participate in Health & Safety initiatives within the organization.
· Other duties as assigned/required.
Qualifications:
· Post-secondary education in business or Human Resources Management
· 5 years of prior experience in an HR/Operations role
· Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks.
· Analytical and problem solving skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
