Job Description: The Barista/Cashier at Nonni Cafe & Bakery is a key front-of-house team member responsible for crafting high-quality coffee beverages, handling transactions, and ensuring an excellent guest experience. This role blends customer service with beverage preparation, requiring efficiency, attention to detail, and a warm, welcoming attitude that aligns with Nonni’s values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare espresso-based drinks, teas, cocktails and other beverages with precision and care
- Greet guests warmly, take orders efficiently, serve orders and ensure a positive customer experience
- Operate the POS system, process transactions accurately, and handle cash/card payments
- Maintain consistency in beverage quality, milk texturing, and drink presentation
- Keep the front counter and seating areas clean, organized, and stocked
- Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and sanitation
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth service flow
- Assist with stocking coffee beans, pastries, and other cafe supplies
- Provide menu recommendations and answer customer inquiries about products
Required Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional experience.
