Position Overview: We are currently in search of a skilled and experienced Tile Setter with a minimum of 5 years' proficiency in residential renovations, bathroom remodeling, consctruction or plumbing. Your expertise should cover demo, framing, drywall, flooring, trim carpentry, as well as basic plumbing and electrical work.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Measuring and cutting tiles: Accurately measuring the area to be tiled and cutting tiles to the required size and shape is an important part of your role. This may involve using specialized tools and equipment to achieve precise cuts.
- Installing tiles: Your main task is to arrange and set the tiles in place using adhesive or mortar, ensuring they are level, aligned, and properly spaced. This may involve working with different tile patterns and designs to achieve the desired look.
- Grouting and sealing: After the tiles are set in place, your job will involve filling the gaps between them with grout and ensuring a clean and consistent finish. You may also be responsible for applying sealant to protect against water damage and staining.
- Cleaning and maintaining tools: Properly cleaning and maintaining your tools and equipment is crucial to ensure their longevity and optimal performance. This includes cleaning up the work area after completing the job.
- Adhere to Western Bathrooms & Renovations' installation standards and procedures, ensuring the highest level of service.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with our valued customers.
- Respectfully handle customers' properties, ensuring a clean environment before and after each project.
- Keep your installation vehicle well-stocked with essential tools and materials, and assist with tasks such as material procurement, waste disposal, and warranty service calls.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and your own vehicle is a requirement.

Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in tile setting is a minimum and a requirement.
- Basic plumbing knowledge is preferred.
- Proficiency in using power tools (drills, jigsaws, etc.).
- Physical capability to lift, push, and/or pull items weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Strong mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division across various units of measure.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety guidelines, installation instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to follow detailed written, illustrated, or oral instructions.
Demonstrated Skills:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in tile setting.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record and your own vehicle.
