Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Fencer/Labourer to join our team. We build and repair fences. Looking to have a lead hand on site. Must have atleast 2 years experience in building fences.
Responsibilities
- Lead hand to assist the team with the installation and repair of wood fences.
- Operate hand tools and power tools such as drills, saws, post hole digger, nail gun etc.
- Support construction management by preparing sites, measuring layouts with precision, and ensuring proper alignment of fencing structures
- Perform general labour tasks including digging post holes, mixing concrete for foundation setting, and handling materials on-site
- Conduct routine inspections of fencing installations for quality control and compliance with safety regulations
- Assist with tasks such as framing and boarding.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in fence installation is a must
- Experience working with power tools is a must
- Knowledge of construction safety practices and ability to follow safety protocols at all times
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
- Punctuality and good attendance
- Pay important attention to detail

Starting wage is $20/hr with raise increase based on performance and skills. Bonus incentives for completed jobs. Will provide schedule on a weekly basis or as jobs are booked. Drivers license a plus. Can meet at designated location or at job site, most days starting between 8-9am. 7 days a week.
