We’re looking for an experienced Operations & Warehouse Manager to take ownership of our warehouse, inventory, logistics, and operational readiness. This individual will play a critical leadership role in ensuring every event is executed with precision by maintaining organized systems, accurate inventory, and a warehouse that operates at the highest professional standard.
This is far more than a traditional warehouse position. We’re looking for someone who enjoys building systems, improving processes, leading people, solving problems, and taking ownership of one of the most important functions within our company.
This is a leadership position with significant autonomy. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in creating organization, developing processes, and ensuring the warehouse operates at the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the warehouse.
- Ensure all equipment is clean, tested, organized, and ready for deployment.
- Maintain an efficient warehouse layout that maximizes productivity.
- Implement and improve warehouse procedures and best practices.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional working environment.
Inventory Management
- Own and maintain inventory accuracy using Lasso.
- Ensure every item is properly tracked through check-in and check-out procedures.
- Perform regular inventory audits and cycle counts.
- Identify missing, damaged, or underutilized equipment.
- Develop and maintain equipment labeling and organization standards.
Equipment Preparation
- Oversee the preparation of equipment for upcoming events.
- Verify show orders are complete, accurate, and tested prior to loading.
- Ensure all cables, adapters, consumables, and accessories accompany each job.
- Coordinate equipment allocation across multiple simultaneous events.
Equipment Maintenance
- Schedule preventative maintenance and routine testing.
- Troubleshoot and coordinate repairs when equipment issues arise.
- Track equipment lifecycle and replacement recommendations.
- Maintain accurate repair and maintenance records.
Logistics
- Coordinate loading and unloading of trucks.
- Plan efficient warehouse workflows around event schedules.
- Work closely with Project Managers and Technical Directors to prioritize equipment needs.
- Ensure returned equipment is processed promptly and accurately.
Leadership
- Lead warehouse staff and technicians working in the warehouse.
- Delegate responsibilities effectively.
- Train team members on warehouse procedures and inventory standards.
- Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years of experience in professional audiovisual production or warehouse operations.
- Strong knowledge of professional AV equipment, including audio, video, lighting, staging, and rigging.
- Experience using inventory management software (experience with Lasso is an asset).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
- Valid driver’s license.
Preferred
- Experience leading or supervising teams.
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience working with live events and event logistics.
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs.
- Experience developing operational processes and SOPs.
