Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Local Truck Driver specialized in hauling 53ft Dry Van trailers. This role involves local deliveries within the Edmonton area, ensuring timely and safe transportation of freight to various destinations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations, vehicle maintenance, and efficient route management.
You will come home every night. All work is LOCAL.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 53ft dry van truck for local freight deliveries across designated routes.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules or issues.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure safety for oneself and others on the road.
- Using our phone application for receiving dispatch
Requirements
- Valid CLASS 1 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Valid DG certificate
- Proven experience in commercial driving, especially operating 53ft dry van trailers.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety standards.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to manage routes efficiently
- Commitment to safety, punctuality, and professional conduct during all operations.
Pay: $3,500.00-$5,500.00 per month
