We are seeking a professional and organized Front Desk Agent to join our team. At Sechelt Inn, we take pride in providing friendly hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere for visitors exploring the Sunshine Coast.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dependable Front Desk Associate to be the smiling face that greets our guests and helps make their stay exceptional. This role is vital in providing exceptional customer service, troubleshooting guest requests and property management.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a warm, professional, and friendly attitude
- Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently
- Answer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries
- Manage reservations and process payments
- Provide information about local attractions, dining, and activities
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction
- Assist with administrative tasks and daily front desk operations
- Resolve guest concerns with confidence and care
Skills
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable using computers and reservation systems
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Previous hospitality, retail, or customer service experience is an asset, but we’re happy to train the right candidate!
