Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile professional to join our team as a Carpenter. This role involves working on diverse construction, renovation, and manufacturing projects, requiring a strong foundation in various trades and technical skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing a wide range of tasks, from carpentry and masonry to electrical and plumbing work, ensuring high-quality results across multiple disciplines. Duties
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute project specifications
- Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry work with precision and safety standards
- Install cabinets, flooring, tile, siding, roofing, and other building materials using hand tools and power tools
- Conduct construction painting, caulking, and finishing tasks to meet aesthetic and functional requirements
- Operate CNC machines and assist with manufacturing processes as needed
- Assist with plumbing and electrical installations, ensuring compliance with codes and safety protocols
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment to complete tasks efficiently
- Read schematics and perform construction estimating to support project planning and execution
- Collaborate with team members on assembly, restoration projects, or handyman tasks as required
- Maintain a clean work environment while adhering to safety guidelines at all times
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating
- Experience in concrete forming, masonry, carpentry, woodworking, roofing, siding, flooring installation, tile laying, and drywall finishing
- Knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing installations, caulking techniques, rebar installation, and HVAC basics is highly desirable
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools (such as saws, drills), CNC machinery, and heavy lifting equipment safely
- Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to various project requirements
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and clients
- Prior handyman experience or general construction background is preferred but not mandatory
