Westland Veterinary Hospital is looking to add another full time receptionist to our staff! We are an independent and locally owned small animal general practice in SW Calgary. Our recently expanded facility includes a full in-house IDEXX laboratory, digital radiographs, a dedicated dental suite, ultrasound, therapeutic laser, and an underwater rehabilitation treadmill. Our established team understands the struggles faced by those working in the veterinary industry and we care deeply about the mental health and work/life balance of all our employees. Job Duties:
- Taking calls from clients and scheduling appointments
- Answering client questions and providing education
- Issuing invoices and taking payments for services
- Checking in patients, getting updated weights
- Monitoring emails/voicemails and answering accordingly
- Assisting the technicians with basic patient restraint
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday,
- Two week alternating schedule of 8:00am-4:00pm/9:00am-5:00pm
- Rotating Saturdays 9:00am-1:00pm (approximately once every 6-8 weeks) with the following Monday off.
