Position Summary:
We are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you will operate a variety of woodworking machines, assist throughout the production process, and help manufacture high-quality kitchen cabinet doors. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and assist with various woodworking and manufacturing machines used in the production of kitchen cabinet doors.
- Load and unload materials, ensuring products move efficiently through each stage of production.
- Assist with cutting, sanding, drilling, edging, assembling, and finishing cabinet door components.
- Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards and customer specifications.
- Measure, inspect, and verify materials and finished products for accuracy and defects.
- Support overall production by assisting team members in different departments as required.
- Maintain machinery and workstations by keeping them clean, organized, and free of debris.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report equipment issues, material shortages, or quality concerns to supervisors.
- Meet daily production targets while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
- Perform other general labour and production duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing or woodworking experience is an asset but not required.
- Ability to safely operate or learn to operate various production machinery and hand tools.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
- Ability to read measuring tools and follow production instructions.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs (23 kg), standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive tasks.
- Strong teamwork, reliability, and a positive work ethic.
- Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
