We are currently looking for a Parts Counter Sales Representative at Penner Farm Services, a subsidiary of Agrihub Inc., for its Blumenort, Manitoba location. This is a full-time, permanent position. The Parts Counter Sales Representative is responsible for providing prompt, friendly and professional service for in-store customers and generating and following up on leads to advance the sales process, closing new business.
What you'll do:
- Responsible for prompt, friendly, professional service for in-store customers as a priority, working efficiently, minimizing wait times by ensuring the front counter is always staffed.
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of our products, services, and policies, and successfully selling our features over competitive brands.
- Customer needs and requirements and how our product can service their needs;
- Contact sales leads through telephone and email, cold calling as necessary;
- Generate interest from potential customers through promotional offerings and providing product information;
- Successfully problem solve by listening to customer concerns, investing time & patience to learn solutions to common product/customer issues.
- Invoice and prepare products for customer orders;
- Stock store shelves and create product displays;
- Load and unload product for customers and other transportation services.
- Learn the various parts manuals to assist customers with parts related questions. This will require working as a team, learning from vendor resources, experienced staff, and any personal farm equipment experience.
What you'll need:
- Minimum Grade 12 education;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Self-motivated with high energy and enthusiasm;
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word and Excel;
- Demonstrated knowledge of agricultural equipment and related environments and working conditions; Previous experience in the agriculture industry is preferred;
- Mechanical aptitude;
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet set targets.
