Job Summary
Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver
The Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including stocking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory organization. This role also includes regular delivery driving to transport products between store locations and suppliers. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Warehouse Manager in ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of shipping orders.
- Receive skids of product, verify shipments, and store inventory in designated areas.
- Pick, pack, and process customer orders with attention to detail.
- Perform delivery driving between store locations and to/from suppliers.
- Safely load and unload delivery vehicles.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and delivery areas at all times.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and driving regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Owner, Warehouse Manager, or Operations Manager.
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience preferred.
- Delivery driving experience is an asset.
License Requirement:
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License in good standing required.
- Clean driving record required.
Communication Skills:
- Strong oral and written English communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with team members and suppliers.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequent lifting, loading, and unloading of products.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to bend, reach, crouch, climb, and safely operate delivery vehicles.
