Coho Joe Cafe is hiring a Full-Time Line Cook / Kitchen All-Rounder to join our team in beautiful Sointula, BC on Malcolm Island.
We’re a busy, community-driven café serving fresh breakfast, brunch, lunch, soups, baking, espresso drinks, and daily specials. Summer gets busy, fast-paced, and fun — and we’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys cooking good food and working hard with a solid team.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous cooking or kitchen experience required
- Able to work clean, organized, and efficiently under pressure
- Positive attitude and good communication
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
- Experience with breakfast, lunch, prep, soups, sandwiches, and café-style service is a huge asset
What the job includes:
- Line cooking and prep
- Daily soup and feature preparation
- Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and organization
- Helping keep service smooth during busy rushes
- Supporting all aspects of daily kitchen operations
