Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive, dependable, and detail-oriented Multi-Location Cleaning & Facilities Attendant to help keep our residential and commercial properties clean, safe, organized, and well-maintained.
All properties are owned and operated by the same organization. You will not be sent to random customer homes or third-party client locations. Our properties are located throughout Richmond Hill, Markham, and North York.
A weekly schedule will be provided in advance. Each workday will be spent at one assigned location, although the location may differ from one day to the next.
This role includes regular cleaning, restocking supplies, monitoring inventory, identifying maintenance concerns, and helping with the overall upkeep of each property. All necessary cleaning supplies and equipment will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain residential and commercial spaces
- Clean offices, common areas, kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, lobbies, entryways, and other designated areas
- Vacuum carpets and rugs
- Sweep and mop floors
- Dust furniture, fixtures, baseboards, and accessible surfaces
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, sinks, countertops, appliances, and high-touch surfaces
- Empty garbage and recycling bins and replace liners
- Restock toilet paper, paper towels, soap, toiletries, cleaning products, and other staff essentials
- Monitor inventory and prepare a list of cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other items that need to be ordered
- Keep entrances, walkways, outdoor areas, and parking areas tidy when required
- Complete basic upkeep tasks, such as replacing light bulbs and identifying minor repairs
- Ensure cleaning equipment is used properly and remains in good working condition
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols
- Report damage, maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or facility issues to management promptly
- Assist with deep cleaning and special cleaning projects as needed
- Follow the cleaning checklist and specific requirements for each property
- Complete other reasonable cleaning and facilities-related duties as required
Qualifications
- Previous residential or commercial cleaning experience is preferred
- Facilities maintenance or multi-location cleaning experience is an asset
- Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, equipment, and safe handling procedures
- Ability to complete basic upkeep and minor maintenance tasks
- Dependable, punctual, energetic, and able to work independently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Able to follow instructions, manage a daily checklist, and complete assigned duties efficiently
- Good communication skills and the ability to report supply or maintenance needs clearly
- Comfortable travelling to our properties in Richmond Hill, Markham, and North York
- Reliable transportation is strongly preferred
- Physically able to stand for extended periods and perform duties involving bending, reaching, lifting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping
- Professional and respectful when working around residents, employees, and visitors
