The Production Supervisor will report to the Production Manager. The Production Supervisor will drive a culture of safety and accountability based on corporate metrics. This position will also be responsible to promote and encourage team growth and engagement.
As the Production Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to directly contribute to the efficient and safe production of quality product, satisfying customer demand, while leading team development and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years previous supervisory and safety training experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment

Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and compliance

Preference given to primary or secondary solid wood manufacturing experience

Experience in LEAN and/or Six Sigma preferred

Excellent communication, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills

Understanding of web-based computer programs and Microsoft office

Additional courses favorable: Forklift certification, Level 1 First Aid, Confined Space, Fall Arrest, Heavy Equipment Operator, Train the Trainer certifications

Minimum Grade 12 education; preference given to relevant post-secondary and or industry training

In adherence to the principle of pay transparency, we are pleased to disclose the base pay for this full-time position at Metrie. The base pay range for this role is set at $80,000 - $100,000 per year. The specific base pay within the range will be contingent upon an individual's skills, experience and qualifications. Furthermore, it is essential to highlight that our remuneration ranges are established based on the role, level, and location.
