Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks, following standard recipes and safety guidelines
- Take food orders accurately, communicate effectively with kitchen staff, and deliver meals promptly to guests
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations
- Handle cash transactions efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service for all guests
- Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Experience
- Prior food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation practices, and food safety standards
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order calculations accurately
- Experience in serving or bartending roles that demonstrate excellent guest interaction skills
- Basic kitchen experience or understanding of food preparation processes is a plus
