Brantwood is seeking a skilled and reliable IT Administrator to support and provide technical support, manage systems and networks, and support the smooth operation of Brantwood’s technology services.
Duties
- Provide helpdesk support to end users via email, phone, and in person within prescribed timelines.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and workstation issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Manage Microsoft 365, including user accounts, email, permissions, and access control.
- Manage and monitor network infrastructure, including Wi-Fi, switches, firewalls, and internet connectivity.
- Coordinate with internet service providers and technical support to ensure system reliability.
- Maintain cloud systems (Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Jamf, Ubiquiti, Insight, GoDaddy, Sharevision, EMAR), Microsoft Azure based backups and cybersecurity (Webroot Endpoint, Microsoft 365 Defender) .
- Set up and manage user accounts ( Microsoft 365, Apple Business Manager, Sharevision, EMAR ) and devices ( laptops, desktops, Azure VMs, iPhones, iPads, switches, firewalls )
- Maintain IT inventory and asset records.
- Create and update IT documentation, procedures, and support materials.
- Manage and post website updates via (CMS) Content Management System and social media platforms.
- Complete and submit monthly reports.
- Build positive relationships with the Brantwood Community
Experience
- Minimal 3 years of relevant IT experience.
- Completion of college program in computer science, computer programming or network administration required.
- Certifications considered an asset:Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS‑900), Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD‑102), Administrator Expert (MS‑102), Azure Fundamentals (AZ‑900), Azure Administrator Associate (AZ‑104), CompTIA+ (A+, Network+, Security+)
- Valid “G” Driving Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Experience in website administration and social media considered an asset
- Experienced in identifying and resolving network, and system-related technical issues through server logs and notifications.
- Proven ability to monitor, identify and respond effectively to IT issues.
- Experienced in preventive maintenance and resource management for IT hardware and network infrastructure.
- Ability to work flexible hours and respond to urgent issues after hours through on-call support.
Pay: $68,980.89-$77,558.18 per year
