Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Tire and Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing tire replacements, routine oil changes, and basic vehicle maintenance to ensure customer safety and satisfaction. Duties
- Perform tire rotations, replacements, and repairs efficiently and safely
- Conduct oil changes and fluid top-offs according to manufacturer specifications
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and communicate findings to customers or supervisors
- Replace filters, batteries, wipers, and other vehicle components as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and tools to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance tasks under supervision
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and answering questions
Skills
- Prior experience or knowledge of automotive maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand tools and diagnostic equipment
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
- A proactive attitude with a commitment to safety standards and quality workmanship
Pay: $15.00-$24.00 per hour
