Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Part-Time host to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. We are a family run restaurant, seeking someone who is professional, and organized in their work habits, you must possess a strong work ethic to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest services, managing guest flow, and ensuring smooth operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop hospitality and customer service skills in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a positive first impression
- Manage waitlists
- Handle phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette, providing accurate information and taking reservations as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and waiting area along with light cleaning duties.
- Coordinate with restaurant staff to ensure timely seating and service flow
- Assist guests with any special requests or concerns promptly and courteously
- Support other front-of-house duties to enhance overall guest experience
Skills
- Strong guest services and customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Previous experience in serving, hospitality, or food service environments is preferred, but not necessary.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with professional phone etiquette
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Must be able to cover other staffs vacation or sick calls, flexibility is important to us.

Pay: $17.95-$22.00 per hour
