Mountain Mechanical is looking for an outgoing, self-motivated individual to join our team as a shop assistant/helper. No experience required, but will be considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities & Attributes:
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
- Empty garbage bins and manage recyclable materials.
- Organize the shop floor and remove any safety hazards.
- Inform management if things break or need repairs.
- Follow safety rules when using chemical cleaners.
- Forklift operation is an asset.
- Attention to detail: Finding and cleaning hard-to-see spots.
Skills & Qualifications
- Physical stamina: Ability to stand, bend, and lift heavy items up to 50lbs.
- Time management: Completing tasks on a daily schedule.
- Reliability: Arriving on time and working well on your own.
- Experience: Past cleaning or janitorial experience is helpful.
- Training: Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is a plus.

Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
