Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various destinations while maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires strong driving skills, physical stamina, and motivation. The Van Driver plays a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries.
Duties
- Safely operate three ton van to deliver products to clients.
- Load and unload boxed food and products
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation
- Deliver products in a timely manner
Skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically handle of products up to 50lbs
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with manager and customers
- Excellent moving skills to navigate tight spaces and secure loads properly
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in driving with a clean driver’s license
- Candidates must be able to speak and understand English effectively
- Must have a GST number
- Background check will be requested
