Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber/Skilled Apprentice to join our team. This role involves performing plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance within commercial and residential settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, construction experience, and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. This position offers opportunities for professional growth and hands-on work with a variety of tools and systems, contributing to high-quality project completion.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial plumbing systems.
- Service, troubleshoot, and maintain HVAC equipment.
- Install plumbing and HVAC equipment as required.
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
- Clearly explain repair options and recommendations to customers.
- Complete work orders and service documentation accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Work independently while representing Atlas Mechanical in a professional manner.
Qualifications
- Experience in plumbing and/or HVAC service.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Knowledge of residential plumbing and heating systems.
- Experience with boilers, furnaces, water heaters, and air conditioning systems is considered an asset.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving record.
