Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring that all patrons have an enjoyable experience. This role requires excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, including processing payments and managing tabs.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service practices.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in bartending or similar roles, is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with patrons.
- Proficiency in basic math for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order processing.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure a safe environment for customers.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
