Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to support the setup and organization of our financial systems. This is a hands-on opportunity to build real-world bookkeeping experience by helping establish accounting processes from the ground up.
We are currently building our financial systems and are looking for someone excited to help bring structure and organization to our records.
The successful candidate will play a key role in transitioning our organization into a structured and sustainable financial system using QuickBooks.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and organize QuickBooks for a non-profit organization
- Input and categorize past financial records and receipts
- Assist in developing basic bookkeeping systems and processes
- Reconcile bank statements and organize financial data
- Support preparation of simple financial reports
- Maintain accurate and organized records
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a program in accounting, bookkeeping, business, or a related field
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping principles
- Experience with QuickBooks is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Comfortable working with limited existing systems (starting from scratch)
- Applicants must be able to clearly communicate their experience and problem-solving abilities in a cover letter.
Working Conditions
- On-site position in Sarnia, ON
- Please note: this location is not wheelchair accessible

Applicants must:
- Be between 15 and 30 years of age
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada
